There seems to be a lot of press surrounding influencer marketing at present. There’s been the recent release of the Fyre Festival documentary on Netflix, along with the media reporting that numerous influencers have agreed to declare when posting ADS. (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-46960179).
I find this very interesting topic, as in recent years, influencers were allowed to post whatever they wanted and promoting products which they had no intention of wearing or using. It reached a low point when celebrities were able to endorse skin-care products, and claim they had benefits which simply were not true.
