Wait… what?

You know that feeling you get when you walk into a room and you don’t really know why?

I do. I know that feeling very well right now.

It’s a side effect of something else, not the cause, but an effect.

It’s bloody frustrating – I can tell you that for nothing!

And the worst part is when you forget if you have caught up with the series you’re watching, only to go to watch it and realise that you have watched the bloody thing!  There’s only so many times a girl can get excited about watching the rest of the new Rick and Morty series.

It made me think about other times I have forgotten to do things, like write a blog post for the last couple of weeks… or when I don’t reply to someone on WhatsApp or any other social media, because (in my head) I’ve read it, therefore responded out loud to it.

It’s not my fault you can’t hear me verbally reply to you.

I mean, there are some positives…

Like forgetting you got money out and finding it in your coat pocket

Or when you go to the fridge and find some delicious food you brought the day before. Not just any food though… M&S food.

Being extra OCD regarding the important things and writing a million notes to remind myself (maybe not a great positive but its helpful!)

I mean, there some positives, but you get the gist.

I guess what I’m trying to say through this is… Throughout the forgetful days, I am still good at what I do. And not to brag, but I would say I’m damn good.

“Damn good” at what you ask?

… I forget.
