Audit Senior/Semi-Senior
Ox Seven
I’ve been instructed by a great client in the North-West who are looking for Audit professionals at both Semi-Senior and Senior level. With new Partner firms joining, the sheer volume of work has gone through the roof, and they are looking for several new team members across both levels.
This is the chance to join one of the most highly thought of, and high-performing audit teams in the North-West. With an amazing range of benefits in the background, there is flexibility on the package for this at both Semi-Senior, and Senior level. Following extensive discussions with my client, and the realisation that quality auditors are hard to come by, there is going to be room to negotiate a package to suit, but within reason, and dependent on your experience. This is a firm where you’re looked after, supported, and encouraged to progress and take your career forward.
As an Audit Senior, you will take on the responsibility of a portfolio of clients, primarily within the corporate SME market, as well as within the charity and academies sector. There will also be the need to mentor, train, and manage more junior members on-site. You’ll need to be ACA, or ACCA qualified with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, and environment.
At Semi-Senior level, you’ll need a minimum of 12 months experience, and be studying towards your ACA, or ACCA qualification. Ideally, with 1 or 2 exams under your belt, and experience of a fully functioning audit department.
In terms of salaries, there is going to be flexibility to negotiation a package here, but Senior is around £38 – 42,000 DOE, and Semi-Senior will be £25-35,000 DOE. You’ll get 27 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), flexible working, free parking and 4 x salary as death-in-service, are just some of the benefits. Employee welfare and well-being are high on the agenda, as is the potential for career progression. They also have an action-packed social calendar, including themed lunches, summer games and evening social events.
We appreciate this is only a snapshot of the role, so if you are interested and want to know more, call me, send me a message (Rich Lambert on LinkedIn), DM, or whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable, to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there are no gender biases in our adverts.
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
