Health and Safety Coordinator

Location Banbury
Salary £28,000 - £33,000
Industry Business Support
Date posted 20/11/2023
Contract type Full time

Are you a stickler for rules and regulations? If so, this role could be the ideal fit.

As a Health and Safety Coordinator you’ll be joining a company who pride themselves on adhering to and implementing the highest possible H&S standards.

You’ll be supporting department heads with the delivery of site risk assessment processes including (but not limited to) overall risk assessment, task specific risk assessments, COSHH Assessments, Manual Handling Assessments, DSE assessments, fire risk assessments and noise/vibration and environmental assessments etc.

You’ll be working closely with all department heads, providing accurate and current SHE advice to ensure adherence to company requirements and regulatory standards/legislation.  Furthermore, you’ll ensure inspections and audits are fully compliant with current legislation and requirements, reporting this information to the business with any necessary resolutions or improvements that are required.

Communication is going to key for this role.  You’ll need the natural ability to build rapport with departments and personnel across the business in order to help embed best practice H&S procedures and processes.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone who is NEBOSH qualified, with practical H&S experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

The salary is on at £28,000 to £33,000 DOE with 26 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, so there’s plenty of ‘you time’ to be had… to enjoy your free chocolate.

We appreciate this is a tiny snapshot of what you would do, so if you are interested and want to know more, call me, send me a message (Adam Williams on LinkedIn), DM, or whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable, to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there are no gender biases in our adverts.

Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
