Are you a driven account manager with a background in telecoms?

I am looking for an account manager to join our client based in West Sussex. They offer a wide range of full comprehensive solutions to clients. They specialise in Telecoms and offer services in IT, data and much, much more.

You will be a natural communicator. You will do a mix of meeting with clients face to face and virtually, so being confident in both regards is important for the role. Now I know it sounds a little cliché but you will be a hunter, there are a large number of accounts which haven’t been looked at for a while, who are on basic packages that could be very interested in hearing about all of the new products and services on offer.

As a result having experience upselling and making the most of every opportunity is a crucial skillset and mindset to have!

You will also need to have a background within sales, and if in telecoms that is a massive bonus. You will take over dormant accounts that are currently within the business, so you will naturally be able to build rapport quickly and be able to negotiate commercials in order to maximise profitability. You will need to be able to drive as you go out and visit clients.

Our client put a lot of emphasis and time into their staff. They provide excellent training and get specialists in to make sure that you have everything at your disposal to get good results. They also reward staff regularly. From referral schemes for finding new staff, to a bonus for passing probation as well as trips abroad for hitting targets!

Salary wise you will be looking at £26,000, with a very realistic OTE of £45,000. As well as this you will receive a generous holiday allowance and guaranteed pay increases with longevity in the business. There are great career progression opportunities within the company.
