Accounts Administrator
Are you an Accounts Administrator looking for your next opportunity? I present an opportunity to join a global brand and become and integral part of their UK operation.
My client is Ireland-based and operating in the luxury footwear, clothing, outerwear and accessories marketplace. The brand is focussed on premium performance and high-quality lifestyle products, incorporating excellent customer service. With over 100 employees internationally and offices in Ireland, the United Kingdon, the Netherlands, and the USA, this is an opportunity to join a truly global brand.
The role of the Accounts Administrator is to ensure the efficient management and control of all administration activities and take responsibility for controlling the daily activities of the accounts department at the Chipping Norton office.
With 10 people in the office already, you will be the lead for the accounts side of the operation, reporting directly to the UK Operations Manager in Ireland. Some travel to overseas offices may be required, providing an opportunity to see and experience other cultures and their ways of working.
Ideally, you will have experience of working in a similar accounts role within a retail environment. Experience of month-end reporting, preparation of accruals and pre-payments for month-end, updating daily bank reports, entering journals into the general ledger and assisting in the preparation of annual budgets are required, along with various other tasks and duties associated with the role.
You will possess excellent verbal and writing communication skills, be able to work on your own effectively, but also liaise with a wider team to ensure the smooth and effective running of the accounts division and the larger retail operation. An interest in equestrian, sailing or outdoor activities would position you well to thrive in this role, as well as a familiarity with the brand itself.
From a salary perspective, my client is offering up to £30,000 for the right candidate, standard holiday allowances and pension. You will be expected to be office-based for 4 days, with the flexibility to work from home for 1 day a week. You will have access to free parking on-site and a 50% employee discount.
We appreciate this is only a snapshot of the role, so if you are interested and want to know more, call me, send me a message (Richard Lambert on LinkedIn), DM, or whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable, to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there are no gender biases in our adverts.
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
