Business Development Manager
I’m looking for a business development manager to join a leading provider of global technology services in the corporate, entertainment, and special event sectors. They specialise in all types of event experiences, from live and broadcast corporate events, to tours, concerts, live streams, and more.
Founded 5 years ago, they are a dynamic and rapidly growing company made up of industry veterans who share a wealth of experience. The team has been responsible for the delivery of some of the most iconic live events and performances in the last few decades. Over the last 18 months, they have developed a reputation for being leaders in the virtual event space and provide some truly incredible solutions to their customers.
You will be working with veterans of the industry so have a huge opportunity to absorb their knowledge (over 200 combined years) and really enhance your career in an exciting space. Because of this industry experience, you’re not going to be scrabbling around for leads – there will be plenty of warm introductions there for you to capitalize on – although you will be expected to be proactive and bring in new leads and convert them to clients.
Your ultimate responsibility is to increase revenue for the company – super simple. But you will do this by developing new relationships and growing existing customer accounts.
This is the first role of its kind, so you will have an opportunity to come in and develop processes, rather than shoehorn yourself into an existing process. You will most definitely need to have experience in selling digital solutions in the broader event space – with a real focus on xR.
You’ll start on a salary of £40,000 – £45,000, plus a fantastic benefits package which includes financial bonuses (OTE up to £60K). You will need good access to Tring and London as that is where their offices are. There are extensive growth plans, so your personal career could really be accelerated if you do well here.
If you are interested or want to know more (including seeing the full client job brief), send me a message, DM, call me – whatever is easiest. Having an up-to-date CV to hand is ideal, but if you haven’t got one immediately, we can still chat through the position, and you can learn more.
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there is no gender bias in our adverts.
