Buyer - FMCG
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000
Industry: Business Support
Job posted: 05/09/2019
Type: Full time
Do you feel like you make an impact?
How often do you feel overlooked, or you think that you’d be better off working somewhere that really care about their team?
The bigger the business, often the harder this becomes. Not here. Yes, it’s extremely well established but it’s privately owned and has 150 years of weight behind it. You won’t be lost in the ether here. After all, buying is the base of the business.
Your opinions, your actions and wellbeing all contribute to the bigger picture, so it’s important that you count.
You’re already going to have a background in buying or as a procurement professional – after all, this isn’t an entry-level position. You’ll know your way through MRP like the back of your hand and making sense of stock levels will be second nature. Plus, coming from an FMCG market (food, in an ideal world – raw materials, finished good etc) importing goods and overseas sourcing won’t be new. We won’t even get into documentation just yet.
You’re keen to start a fresh and need somewhere supportive to do that. Your wider team are a truly friendly bunch and will make the transition as smooth as possible.
Here you’ll get up to £33,000 and the ever-important leave entitlement is 25 days plus your bank holidays. If that’s not quite enough (it’s a week more than most), you’ll have the option to buy some more, so you can spend more time on you. On top of that, there’s the added option of childcare vouchers, a Medicare cashback scheme and life assurance.
We’d love to talk to you about this one, if you haven’t got an up to date CV, don’t worry, you can just send us what you do have (email@example.com) or get in touch another way. Our number is on the right of the advert, along with LinkedIn details to connect.
Everyone receives a response to their application.
