We are working with a premium hospitality group, a luxury hotel and spa group, who are currently going through an exciting period of growth and bucking up trends in the industry! They have invested millions in to the properties in the past 5 years and are receiving accolade after accolade for the standards they are raising in the industry!
We are looking for a Buyer to join the commercial finance team. You will be working alongside the groups head of commercial finance and will support the wider business to achieve efficiency in al all areas of procurement.
You will be based in a beautiful modern, recently refurbished office in Moreton-in-Marsh. As far as teams go, this is an extremely friendly one and you will feel part of something very special!
As you will already know, there will be a huge importance on building and maintaining good working relationship with suppliers. You will negotiate with them on price, quality, lead times and achieve best value for money.
You will be buying directly and indirectly from a huge range of suppliers with a spend in its millions. Day to day, you will work with the heads of various companies with a view to reducing their net spend and increasing the profitability of the group.
Since the most part of your buying will be within the hospitality industry, broad knowledge of this will be hugely beneficial to hit the ground running, but you will have a great opportunity to learn from a well-established commercial team who have been in situ for a number of years.
We’re looking for someone who has experience in a buying/procurement role, in the hospitality sector, that has been directly involved in supplier relationships, as well as strong commercial acumen.
There will probably be quite a bit of travelling to site(s) involved (in the Midlands – expenses paid), so although you will be in the office when you’re not there, if you like the variance on where you are and what you’re doing – it’s great!
From a salary perspective, you will be looking between £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience, as well as being eligible for a companywide bonus scheme, you will get generous discount at group properties as well as other great corporate discounts.
