We are looking for customs coordinators to join a vastly expanding business experiencing rapid growth due to some major client wins. They are in the freight operating sector, which as you will know is a fast moving and ever changing landscape – giving you constant learning and progression opportunities.

It may sound obvious, but some Import and export knowledge is essential as this busy role will include the co-ordination of all of these activities in line with HM revenue and customs regulations – which can get pretty complex.
Attention to detail is a crucial skill as you will be tasked with checking and monitoring courier invoices, and ensuring accurate invoices are given in a timely manner. You’re going to need very good verbal and written communication skills, not only to liaise with your great colleagues but also to check export controls with the customs legal counsel.
Experience in logistics or road transport are a highly desirable skill to have as this is a very complimentary experience set.
From a salary perspective you are looking at between £24,000-£34,000.
