Digital Content Marketing Executive

Location Oxford/Hybrid
Salary £30,000-£35,000
Industry Technical
Date posted 21/09/2022
Contract type Full Time

Do you have a passion for creating content that engages with new and existing customer bases? No? Well, then forget it!!

If you do, then here’s your chance to help change society for the better. Now that’s a bold claim, I know, but don’t worry keep reading, we can back it right up.

At this role, you’ll be integral in creating written content (words and stuff) that promotes the wide range of products and services this company has to offer. You will produce digital content (videos and stuff) that engages with clients to showcase the new modules and services provided and create marketing material to help the sales team with winning new business (money and stuff).

You’ll come from a marketing background, ideally in a B2B setting. If you come from a tech background, that’s even better! If you don’t, it is important to have an interest in this sector as this will be producing content on. If you don’t have an interest, you must be adept at pretending you do. That’s a joke. And not a great one.

Like me at 15 years of age, this company is currently experiencing a great and rapid growth and this is a newly created role off the back of that. You will be working closely with the marketing and communications manager as you implement the marketing strategy together. Experience with social media is very useful as you will execute these campaigns from start to finish.

It probably goes without saying, so I won’t bother. Oh, go on then: being naturally creative is essential for this role as you create relevant and engaging content across all of the marketing channels, from newsletters to social media. Experience with Google Analytics, CMS systems (WordPress etc), and impeccable copywriting and copy-editing skills are also essential. And we mean impeccable, nobody should be able to peck you when it comes to your copywriting skills.

Enough about the requirements though – what’s in it for you?

Answer: cash. You’ll be on £30,000 to £25,000 depending on experience. They offer a hybrid approach to working, you will only need to be in the office 2-3 times a week. 25 days holiday (and your bank holidays), plus the option to buy 10 more. Not enough time off? You can take a 4-week sabbatical every 5 years too, if that’ll do you?

If you don’t have your health, what have you got? Well, life, critical illness and income protection cover will help with that. Your long-term goals will also be taken care of with £1,000/5 days per year contributed towards training alongside regular mentoring and career advice.

You like free stuff? Who doesn’t? We do. And so do these guys, with free fruit, hot drinks and fortnightly lunches at local restaurants. You’ll be joining a sociable bunch that regularly get out for quizzes, games nights, films, punting – the list goes on, but we really don’t have time.

If you are interested or want to know more, call me, send me a message, DM, carrier pigeon – whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there is no gender bias in our adverts.

Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
