Field Service Engineer
Are you a field service engineer with a background in telecoms?
Our client offer a wide range of full comprehensive solutions to clients. They specialise in Telecoms and offer services in IT, data and much, much more.
You will be a natural communicator as you speak to a number of clients dealing with installing and maintaining their phone systems. You will ensure they understand their new phone systems and utilise all of the applications that come with it. You will be responsible for the applications in call centre environments- call queueing, reports, agent control and wallboards.
You will have working knowledge of VOIP and SIP and have a background in telecoms. You will have either a CCNA or CompTIA networking + qualification as well as a UK driving licence- it is a field role after all. You will have worked on 8X8 systems before, if you have a certification even better.
You will be able to install a range of solutions overcoming any issues with logistics or the building itself as they arise. You will technically document each site visit. You will plan your own diary of when you visit customers, and have plenty of overtime opportunities should you wish to earn time and a half.

Salary wise you will be looking at between £30,000-£35,000 DOE. You will get a car allowance, and as well as this you will receive a generous holiday allowance, and there are great career progression opportunities within the company.
