Field Service Technician
Are you someone who loves being in ‘the field’ solving mechanical (and electrical) problems?
You will be working with a leading supplier of fitness equipment. They supply top of the range equipment to gyms, leisure clubs and private individuals across the globe. This is a fast paced role where you will be required to trouble shoot and diagnose issues with electro/mechanical equipment.
It’s going to massively help if you have an interest in health and fitness, as you will be spending most of your time in customers gyms, fixing their equipment.
They work with state of the art scheduling software, so say goodbye to the days of driving 6 hours and turning up to a job only to realise you do not have the parts.
A background in diagnostic’s is highly useful as is a great working knowledge of flowcharts and voltmeters. You will also need a technical qualification from either a mechanical or a electrical recognised body.
Location wise you will be based a commutable distance to High Wycombe, although this is a field based role so you will be going wherever needed in your region. You will be provided with a work van, fuel card and mobile, so it goes without saying that you will be able to drive!
Good communication is also essential for this role as build rapport with different clients, and liaise with them about potential upselling possibilities, be it a new machine or an extended warranty.
Salary wise you will be looking at between 30-32K depending on experience. You have your vehicle and equipment provided, as well as health insurance, pension contribution, and other corporate benefits.
