You’ll be overseeing all daily operations, managing performance, and building a harmonious culture of a modern and progressive manufacturing centre in Wenzhou.
With plans to introduce automated production lines alongside the existing workforce, you will be overseeing the execution of this development and managing the production increase.
This is a huge move for the company, so coming up with long term strategies to include and encourage the production workers in this change is important.
There is currently an operation of around 100 people, and this implementation will double production – so, blending this seamlessly alongside all the people who already operate across the business is key.
To do that, you’ll be experienced in a similar environment and be able to say no. You can confidently stand up for what you know to be the right business move, or the most sensible decision. Being able to positively articulate your reasonings is important.
Working closely with senior stakeholders in the company, you’ll be meticulously managing capital investment and monitoring costs, assisting the directors and overseeing the entire production process.
You are going to need to speak fluent Mandarin. You might be a Chinese citizen, Mandarin speaker with a British passport (we will arrange a work visa) or perhaps a Hong Kong/Taiwan passport holder with the Mandarin language.
These two things are absolute prerequisites. Maybe you’ve been studying in the UK or working within an engineering environment and you’re now considering a move back home.
This is paying between £65,000 and £85,000 with various benefits included – as well as state-sponsored benefits. I’d love to tell you more about this one and have a chat about what you’re looking for.
You can send me a connection and a message on LinkedIn (Will Grashoff), or you can send me your CV through the portal if you’ve got one (I know not everyone does). If you’re a talker, my number and email are both on our website.
