As a tech savvy Informatics Manager, you will be supporting a high performing scientific team.

Remote working is offered with occasional ‘keep in touch days’ at the Cambridge life sciences hub.

Ideally, you will have a drug discovery background in either biological or chemical data management. We are looking for an experienced Data Manager who can develop and rollout new scientific information systems and reporting tools. You will demonstrate exceptional data management skills and be comfortable using tools such as Oracle and PostgreSQL. Data pipelining tools (e.g. Pipeline Pilot) and application deployment tools (e.g. Docker) are very useful to have in your armoury too!

In terms of soft skills, we are looking for someone with a natural communication ability as you will be working alongside multi disciplined teams. An amicable personality will suit the team well and you will be happy to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
