We are looking for an IT and event tech assistant to join our client who work within the events industry. Our client is a very well-established agency and has been around for over 25 years! Working predominantly in the automotive industry, they run events for global brands. They are not your ordinary, vanilla events, they are Knickerbocker glory events, with cherries on top!

The events industry have really been hard hit in the last 18 months, but our client has not only come through this period but also taken on a significant number of new clients, meaning they are able to offer an unrivalled level of job security.

You will play a vital part in the IT team providing efficient 1st line IT support for the company, to both the staff in the office and those working remotely. You will also help maintain and enhance the cyber security by undertaking and identifying weaknesses in the current system. You will get the chance to go to events and ensure everything is set up and sorted from a technical point of view, problem solving and the ability to think on your feet to diagnose problems is essential.

Skillset wise time management will be important as you deal with the daily support requests and make sure everyone in the business is operational. You will need a good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript in order to build, test and maintain web-based delegate registration systems. You will also get to research and implement the latest in event technologies to further add value to event team and clients.
