Probably not what you want to hear when you’ve travelled miles to a stunning hotel for a peaceful weekend break, is it? The reception team haven’t got a clue how to fix it and everything starts spiralling.
When you go away you expect things to be running smoothly. You don’t factor in real-life problems or situations out of people’s control. A lot is out of the remit of the wider hotel team, so they will rely on you and your department to have everything back up and running as quickly as possible.
It saves them the hassle, the guests time, and you the worry of someone doing something they shouldn’t to try and help.
Software has become an integral part in enhancing the customer experience across all sectors, and hospitality is no exception.
This is where you come in.
Your knowledge and experience of IT systems such as Office 365 and Windows 2012 (Onwards), plus your experience in network, proxy and firewall configuration means you’ll be able to provide first-class support to all end users.
Not everyone is savvy when it comes to IT, so you’ll need to be patient and understanding, two great traits to hold. You’ll be able to translate technical jargon into easily understood and simple language, to get everyone from A to B as quickly as possible.
Got an ITIL Foundation qualification? Great news if you have, but if you haven’t don’t panic, it’s not an absolute must.
You’ll get a salary of £18,500, so if that suits your expectations then I’d love to talk to you.
There’s also a Perkbox, Medicash Healthcare Scheme and Cycle to work scheme (after 1 year service). Want more? Well then on-site discounts, training opportunities and service awards will help fill that void.
Let’s have a chat about it. You can send me a connection and a message on LinkedIn (Adam Williams), email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or you can send me your CV through the portal if you’ve got one. If you’re a talker, my number is to the right.
Every applicant will receive a response.
