Finance and Fitness actually have quite a bit in common.

 

Counting reps / numbers … okay I’m out, so maybe they don’t have a massive amount in common! But if you’ve got an interest in fitness and are into finance, then this could be right up your street.

 

We’re looking for an Junior Credit Controller to join a great health and fitness company, who are also prepared to help with your AAT/CICM qualification too, so this is a great opportunity for someone early on, or just starting out in their finance career.

 

This will be quite a transactional role, roughly spending most of your time supporting the Accounts Receivable function, including credit control, chasing payments, bank reconciliation, cross currency and month end.

 

The rest of your time will be spent covering other finance departments by raising payments, doing expenses and some VAT work too. This role will certainly help to increase your knowledge of the whole finance function.

 

Creating and maintaining a dynamic culture is challenging, but it can and is being done with these guys. They have a speak up employment survey, with year-on-year improvements. It’s the kind of place I would like to work!

 

You will get a basic salary of between £20,000 – £25,000 per annum depending on your experience and once you are fully up to speed with your role you will work from the offices in High Wycombe 3 days a week, with Monday’s and Friday’s working from home.
