Learning and Assessment Coordinator

Location High Wycombe
Salary £30,000 - £35,000
Industry Business Support
Date posted 05/09/2022
Contract type Full Time

We’re searching for a Learning and Assessment Coordinator to join a professional body in the exciting and rapidly growing field of academia.

You’ll have a very good understanding of how awarding bodies function and you’ll also need a basic understanding of assessment management for this one. We are also looking for someone who is now ready for a broader role, where you will learn about the development, quality assurance and business development aspects of awarding bodies too.

If you’re looking for a bit of extra responsibility, you’ll get it here as you’ll be deputising for the Executive Learning and Development Director when they are out of the country on business, which is quite regularly.

You will be managing some aspects of the centre approval process, including, for example, the mapping of other qualifications against the company’s to enable Recognition of Prior Learning.

One of your key roles will be supporting the centre onboarding process from the point of signing the contract, through to handling queries, arranging training and being the main point of contact for the company’s appointed centres.

You are going to be treated like the professional you are – no micro-management, no being treated like a child – just support, encouragement, and the tools to do your job in the most effective way.

You will get a salary of £30,000 – £35,000, and you’ll need to be within a commutable distance to the brand new offices in Victoria, London – as this is an office based role.

We appreciate this is a tiny snapshot of what you would do, so If you are interested and want to know more, call me, send me a message (Dan Beecher on LinkedIn), DM, or whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable, to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there are no gender biases in our adverts.

Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
