Middleweight 3D Designer
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000
Job posted: 28/11/2019
Type: Full Time
Fed up of being given someone else’s design concepts to “bring to life”?
When you’re not there from start to finish, things can get a little lost in translation and you can find yourself making more edits than necessary.
Do you want that client interaction to get the information straight to you, to then be able to create your own design from scratch and know you’ve delivered exactly what was on the brief?
You’re going to need to have experience with both Vector Works and Artlantis, to not only get the technical drawings on point, but to make it visually appealing and pretty. This will be the first thing I will look for, closely followed by events agency experience since this is who you will be designing for.
You’ll liaise with suppliers on design, implementation, use of materials and costs, as well as being on site to oversee the build too.
Staying on budget and on time is something you manage very well, when working with such big names you need to keep on top of the figures and ensure everyone is happy with where you’re at. You seek feedback both internally and from your clients already, to ensure your work gets better and better over time, allowing you to not only better yourself, but help others within the organisation along the way, too.
As well as being a dab hand creatively, you’ll also love presenting your design strategy and creative concepts to both clients and internally too; lets face it, why wouldn’t you want to show off your work?
You will get a salary of £27k – £32k, a good amount of ‘you’ time with the 25 holiday days on top of your 8 bank holidays. Being in events, there will be some travel within the UK and overseas from time to time and some evening and weekend work required.
Let’s have a chat about it. You can send me a connection and a message on LinkedIn (Dan Beecher), or you can send me your CV through the portal. If you’re a talker, my number is on our website.
