Product Manager - Banbury
OX Seven overview of the Product Manager position:
OX Seven are working with a software company who operate within the hospitality and leisure industry. The flagship software they produce is built by operators, for operators, so adds real value to their customers experience. Priding themselves on a consultative approach, they have over 1000 UK Sites using their software with plans to grow that exponentially.
Our partner is a relatively small but very well-established company and place huge importance on team cohesion, fun at work and shared achievement. Due to their continued success they are looking for a Product Manager to come in and take ownership of a key module which is presently in development stage.
Why would you want this Product Manager position?
You will be working within an environment that is the right balance of professionalism and fun that will allow you to work with cutting edge cloud-based software. Initially you will be coming in and taking ownership of a product which is in its conceptional stage, with a view to taking it to market later in the year. During the conceptual and developmental stage, you will ensure resource utilisation, project process and milestones are being hit.
Once the product is ready to be released on to the market, your day to day will be very different and will be spent in front of customers speaking about the benefits of the module. You will also be providing insight to senior management, enabling customers to interpret their data and ensure they gain the optimum benefit from using the product.
Ideally as the Product Manager you will have:
- A mix of financial/analytical and sales mindset (rare – we know)
- Demonstrable knowledge of hospitality management and P&L accounts
- Great interpersonal skills and be comfortable dealing with senior business stakeholders
What you receive as the Product Manager:
- Basic salary of £35,000 – £40,000 + Bonus
- 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
