Building up meaningful and fruitful relationships with your customers can be one of the most rewarding things as an account manager.

I’m looking for a regional account manager to join a global food manufacturing business on a 12-month fixed contract.

You will work with existing customers on distribution account strategies, with a general overview on sales promotion, sales targets, range selection, account advertising, public relations, exhibitions etc. You will use your advanced communication skills to work closely with your portfolio of customers, which range from independent retailers through to large high street names.

You will sit in the distribution division of a global food manufacturing company – you are going to benefit from a well-established and knowledgeable team around you. You will be working with a team who will be happy to help and support you to get you up to speed as quickly as possible!

This is a B2B Account Management role in a food environment, in an ideal world you will have some experience of this, but it’s not a prerequisite. We’re looking for someone who can understand the commercial nature of a B2B relationship and who can make mutually beneficial decisions.

This is a remote-based/home role. This role would require an occasional visit to customer sites, which is across the UK – so you will need a driving license.

From a package perspective, you are looking at a base salary of between £28,000 and £35,000. You would come in on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
