Sales Account Manager
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000
Job posted: 07/02/2020
How did you learn to sell?
Does it come naturally, or did you have to work tirelessly to perfect the craft?
Either way you’re now at the top of your game and you can back this up with impressive sales figures.
You’re a seasoned pro in dealing with OEMs, as well as 1st and 2nd tier suppliers, so forming sustainable business relationships with them will be second nature to you.
Your strong technical background and knowledge of engineering practices in automotive, automation and tooling, will be a major asset as you will understand the different nuances and specifications involved in these areas.
You’ll be proactive, a go getter who excels in business development and account management. Achieving this is not always easy, but your ability to build rapport with new and prospective clients will give you a head start.
There are some essentials which kind of go without saying, but we’ll mention them anyway.
You’ll be able to define, implement and manage market strategies and a stable customer base. Although you’ll have a high level of autonomy in this role, you’ll also be able to work alongside the sales team in order to achieve project objectives and company targets.
Budgeting won’t be anything new to you. You’ll be used to financial meetings; discussing investment opportunities and costs involved in the bidding process.
You’ll get £45,000 to £50,000 for starters, plus other perks.
