Sales & Applications Executive
We are working with a global company who have an office in Brackley! They produce award-winning sauces, marinades, seasonings, and functional food ingredients.
We’re looking for a Sales and Applications Executive to join their team, in a newly created position. It’s one of the most interesting and exciting positions we have worked in a while…
In my opinion, it’s going to suit someone who has worked (or is working) in a professional kitchen – understands food/taste combinations, can follow recipes, understands costings and is generally passionate about food. You’re going to be someone who follows food trends, keeps up with the latest in the culinary world and is comfortable sharing that passion with customers – as that will be a major part of the job.
Part of the role will be customer-facing, as you will be presenting your concepts to new and existing customers. We’re not expecting you to come in as a polished, finished salesperson – the Sales Director takes great pride in the training and development that can be offered to you in this role on this element. What you will excel at is the food knowledge side though.
Their UK team is led by Chefs who develop customer-friendly, comprehensive solutions. Globally they turn over £160m and have won various awards, and are seeing sustained growth, so a great place to be!
This is an office-based position, working Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays! You will have the opportunity to travel to trade shows, customer sites as well as the potential for international travel.
There’s a fair amount to this role, so if the company and the concept sounds of interest to you, we should definitely talk further. I’ve got a great brief from the client which I’d love to share.
You will get a salary between £25,000 and £28,000 (depending on your experience), a 7% contributory pension scheme, as well as 25 (+bank holiday) annual leave days AND private medical insurance!
If you are interested or want to know more, call me, send me a message, DM, carrier pigeon – whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there is no gender bias in our adverts.
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
