I am looking for a Sales Development Representative to join a software sales company, based in Oxfordshire.

The company sells a variety of software solutions; disaster recovery, cyber security, cloud backup, payment portals and more. This means you will develop an expertise in all these areas and know the right solution, to pitch at the right time.

You will be working closely with the business development manager to identify opportunities, generate interest and move deals along the pipeline. The deal sizes can vary from £5000 right up to £500,000, so a real opportunity to get your teeth stuck into some really meaty deals!

The company do everything they can to give you the best possible chance of succeeding; you get extensive product training (you will quickly become a subject matter expert), they have access to huge data lists, you will work alongside people who have started in your position and risen up, so can offer practical and useful guidance.

You’re going to need to be a resilient person – although this is not a 100% calling role (they embrace a hybrid approach to sales), you will have days where you make 100 calls and get rejected 100 times. But you will have days where you make 30 calls and generate 10 appointments – you have to have the personality which can take the rough with the smooth.

It’s a fully office-based role (Banbury), working Monday to Friday. Being around your colleagues every day will give you huge opportunity to osmotically learn and accelerate your career.

You’ll start on a salary of £18,000 – £22,000, with the ability to earn uncapped commission on the deals you do. There’s a very realistic opportunity to double your salary if you work hard. On top of this, there is always incentives, spot prizes and bonuses to get your hands on!
