Do you love face-to-face selling, but hate being dragged into an office every day, just because that is what has always been done? Well, I am looking for a Sales Executive to join a company who are in the freight forwarding sector.

They are a family company whose values trickle down right from the top. Despite seeing record growth and going through one of the most exciting times in their history, they have managed to retain a family feel, with senior people in the company constantly looking to improve the lives of those with who they work with.

As a sales executive, you will be covering a big territory – huge potential for clients. It’s going to make life a lot easier if you are based west of London, as your territory will cover from Heathrow to Bristol, down to Southampton along to Brighton and up to Croydon – so a massive potential client base.

You will be working with varying sizes of clients, from £50,000 a year spends right up to 2.5m a year. The people you speak to in businesses are going to vary from the Warehouse manager right up to CEO of a multi-million-pound company – so you’re going to need to be able to be adaptable on who you can communicate with.

You’re going to need field-based B2B selling experience. Having experience in the import/export trade is also extremely important as this is what you will be talking about day in, day out with your customers.

From a salary perspective, you are looking at up to £40,000, but that is very much dependent on your experience in the import/export and freight movement sector. You will also get a company car allowance as well as an annual bonus (which is based on individual performance).
