You’re selling exclusive hire/M&E at a high-end venue, but it’s beginning to look a little rough around the edges, jaws aren’t dropping anymore when you do show rounds…

Does the prospect of working at a (truly) stunning venue that has had close to £15m invested on it in the last 2 years appeal? We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join the sales team to work on Exclusive and Corporate hire.

The property is the busiest it’s ever been (annual turnover of £20m ) and seeing unprecedented footfall through the doors. They offer exceptional levels of experience, from the moment the guest walks through the door, to the moment they leave – which is something you will uphold and improve.

The ‘product’ you are selling is exceptional and when people visit for show rounds, virtually sells itself. You’re going to be commercially savvy enough to know how to maximise each deal – so having an enquiring mind would be hugely beneficial here.

You will be reporting to the group sales manager, who is very well connected and knows the industry very well – so will have an incredible person to bounce ideas off. They will also be able to support you through each part of the sales funnel, should you require it.

This is a target-driven job and there will be high expectations of you – so you’re going to need to thrive under pressure and enjoy the sales process – I don’t think this would suit someone who doesn’t take huge pride in hitting targets.

We’re looking for someone who has experience selling exclusive hire (both corporate and weddings) on high-end venues and can nurture relationships with clients to create long-term partnerships.

As a base salary you’re looking at between £35,000 and £40,000, but you will have the opportunity to earn more as an OTE with individual and department bonuses. There is a whole raft of group benefits that I am happy to share with you, as well as the full company description when we chat.
