Senior Manager (Private Client)
If you are currently working in a tax advisory role, perhaps with one of the Big4, this could be the career move you’ve been waiting for. You will be a qualified tax professional (CTA or equivalent) with substantial experience in private client tax advisory services.
Founded in 2009 and comprising a team of ex-Big 4 tax specialists, my client has a strong reputation for offering boutique and bespoke private client services to HNW and UHNW clients, in the UK and internationally. Upholding values of integrity, professionalism, and excellence, they are looking to grow their Manchester team as part of a planned growth and expansion program.
The role demands a deep understanding of various aspects of private client taxation and structuring, focusing on UK RDs & UK RNDs, overseas trusts, entrepreneurs, and other related areas. Some experience in tax investigations work would also be an advantage but is not essential. You will be well-versed in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, offering bespoke tax advice, and playing a pivotal role in business development and networking to support the growth plans of the Manchester team.
Our client places huge emphasis on training and developing all staff, and there is potential to gain additional qualifications to further your personal and career development. This is not the sort of environment where you are clock watched on billable time, you are trusted to get on and manage your own diary. Ideally, you will be based within a commutable distance to their hotel-like offices in Manchester.
From a salary perspective you will be looking at between £65,000 – 75,000, standard holiday allowances and pension. You will be expected to be office-based for 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for 2 days once your probationary period has been completed. There is also a contracted bonus scheme in place offering 10-20% of billed revenue on top of your basic salary, paving the way to earn close to 6 figures.
We appreciate this is only a snapshot of the role, so if you are interested and want to know more, call me, send me a message (Richard Lambert on LinkedIn), DM, or whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply. We love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there are no gender biases in our adverts.
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
