If you are a Tax Manager looking for that next step-up, or a Senior Tax Manager looking to join a dynamic, client focussed and results driven company, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

As part of a larger group, my client is recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager to join their team. With a reputation for providing outstanding technical and advisory services to corporate and private clients, you will have 10+ years of experience in the financial/professional services field.

You will work closely with the firms high-growth clients to fully understand their companies, what makes them tick, and provide accurate and timely tax planning and compliance advice. You will be the first point of contact for your clients, dealing with ad-hoc enquiries, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to reach the best possible solution for your clients.

Reporting directly into Senior Management, you will take full ownership of the role, leading from the front, delegating to other team members where appropriate. You will be leading client meetings, webinars and helping to support the development of the wider team, specifically the more junior members, overseeing their work to ensure timely and compliant completion.

Ideally, you will be experienced in HMRC enquiries and investigations, and a strong working knowledge of corporate and private tax affairs. CTA, ACA qualified, you will be well-versed in providing tax advisory services, with a strong understanding of how HMRC work. You may well have worked for HMRC at some point. This role represents a chance to take your tax career to the next level with a company that truly looks after and nurtures employees.

This is not the sort of environment where you are clock watched on billable time, you are trusted to get on and manage your own diary. Ideally, you will be based within a commutable distance to their new offices in Manchester, but anywhere on the M62 corridor would be considered acceptable given the hybrid working set up on offer.

From a salary perspective you will be looking at between £60-70,000, 25 days holiday, company pension, performance related bonus schemes, Perkbox discounts, and many more benefits. You will be expected to be office-based as much as possible during probationary periods, with some flexibility. Following this, there is greater flexibility around work setup.

We appreciate this is only a snapshot of the role, so if you are interested and want to know more, call me, send me a message (Richard Lambert on LinkedIn), DM, or whatever is easiest.
