Software can have an amazing impact on the modern world, nowadays everything is being made easier and smoother. You’ll be joining a team providing first and second line support for public-sector products, which help local Authorities to manage their contracts, commissioning, finance and quality monitoring.
You will regularly be performing upgrades and patches to these products, as well as application testing to ensure new versions meet the necessary standard.
You’ll need to have a sound knowledge of SQL with the ability to write queries in Microsoft SQL. Previous experience with troubleshooting and reviewing or writing technical documentation are also essential.
It would also be desirable if you have a relevant degree, experience in using reporting tools, the ability to perform mail merges in Microsoft Word, and knowledge of Local Government contracts and finance management systems.

The salary is on at £22,000 to £32,000 depending on experience. 25 days holiday (and your bank holidays), plus the option to buy 10 more. Not enough time off? You can take a 4-week sabbatical every 5 years too.
