Technical Support Representative
I’m not saying you need to be Arnie or Chris Hoy for this one, but a keen interest in sports and fitness is important, as you’ll be working with 5 of the top brands in the fitness world.
You’ll be the first point of call for customers when they run in to problems with their fitness equipment. You will resolve problems efficiently and effectively through the expert product knowledge training you will be given.
It of course goes without saying that you will do this using your personality to give a personable, quality service. You will average around 20 ticket resolutions a day, so there is a massive emphasis of quality of service, on top of being able to actually solve the customer problems.
You will be responsible for providing technical telephone and e-mail support to end user customers. This could be a treadmill not turning on, right through to a cross trainer that wont change levels.
Having knowledge of sports and fitness equipment is going to make your life a lot easier, as this is what you will be talking about, day in, day out. There is of course fantastic training and support – but a core knowledge would be great. Also, if your adept at using flowcharts this would be hugely helpful, as quite often your problem solving is going to be linear.
You’ll be using SalesForce on a daily basis, so if you’ve got experience using these it will be advantageous in your application, as you create and manage the reporting and dashboards as needed. Previous use of Oracle would also be advantageous.
Creating and maintaining a dynamic culture is challenging, but it can and is being done with these guys. They have a speak up employment survey, with year on year improvements.
You will get a salary of £24-26k, health insurance, pension contribution, an on-site gym and access to a premium local health club. This is an office based role, so please ensure you live within commutable distance of High Wycombe.
If you are interested or want to know more, call me, send me a message, DM or e-mail – whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants.
We use specialist technology to ensure there is no gender bias in our adverts.
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
