VAT Manager/Associate Director
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000
Job posted: 29/07/2020
How important is an expert knowledge of VAT?
Well, in this instance the answer is ‘very’.
You’re a seasoned professional when it comes to leading a firm’s VAT advisory services and have no issues in being the go-to person for the more difficult questions on the subject.
Developing business relationships with new and existing clients is second nature to you and you thrive when it comes to launching innovative projects.
What about the specific requirements?
You’ll have proven in depth VAT advisory experience, along with the innate ability to effectively work and communicate with a variety of colleagues from trainee to director levels. If you also have a wider knowledge of indirect tax, including stamp duty, that would be a distinct advantage.
You’ll need the flexibility to adapt to changing conditions in order to meet deadlines and client expectations. Building a strong rapport with your client base will be of paramount importance here.
The ability to motivate and develop junior staff members will also be a key attribute to bring to the table.
So, what’s in it for you?
Well, the salary is on at £45,000 to £65,000 for a start. You will get a good amount of ‘you’ time with the 24 holiday days on top of your 8 bank holidays and a 37.5 hour week to make sure you’re home on time to enjoy your evenings. A stunning office in the centre of the City, just a stones throw away from the train station, a travel season ticket loan scheme, a time off in lieu scheme and study support – what more could you want?
Let’s have a chat about this one. You can call (my number is on the OX Seven website), add me on LinkedIn – Adam Williams, or you can send over a CV to email@example.com if you have one to hand. We understand not everyone does, so we can talk either way.
Every applicant will receive a response.
