As a workshop technician/supervisor you will be given the opportunity to tackle repairs and overhauls on various equipment, ranging from components to full compressor units. Using a proven engineering background you will strip, inspect and report including recommendations for the corrective actions required to return the components to full working use for their customers.

We are looking for a time served proactive engineer. You will be expected to be able to work autonomously, as well as part of a small team, and use a growth mindset to challenge and develop yourself and the role. We’re looking for someone who can step up into a supervisory position, so if you have leadership experience this would be extremely beneficial.

Your day to day duties will include; carrying out maintenance and repair activities on all compressor types in line with relevant drawings and procedures, complete inspection and repair reports and support the field service team tasking.

You will need to have a strong background in an engineering environment with hands-on experience. You’ll also be able to read engineering drawings and have experience in the use of measuring instruments.

The salary for this role is on at £36,000 to £38,000 DOE. You’ll get 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and an additional 5 bridging days, which are generally used for the Christmas period. There is also private medical and a health and den plan.

This role is site based in Bicester. You will also have the opportunity to travel to other sites within the group including locations in Sweden and Switzerland.
