Engineering Recruitment Consultant
OX Seven
We are working with a fantastic client who specialise in perm placements in the engineering and industrial sector. They keep the dynamic of being family run, whilst attracting major clients.
They have multiple offices in the Northeast and are looking to grow out the industrial side of their offering. Ideally you will have recruitment experience and be able to come in and hit the ground running, however if you have the right attitude they will consider people looking to get into recruitment. Naturally you are treated like an individual, but buying into the team dynamic is important.
You will be confident and keen to get on the phones, using that as the first port of call rather than relying on emails as you quickly build rapport with clients and candidates alike.
People enjoy coming into the office here and enjoy a good laugh whilst working hard and getting the job done, it is fair to say a sense of humour will be needed! They have offices in Gateshead and Stockton, so you will need to be able to commute to either of these.
From a financial perspective, as a base you will be looking at £25,000 – £30,000 DOE, with up to 20% comms- however you are paid out on threshold and this is considerably lower than most firms- there clearly is a great opportunity to earn, as well as loads of other great perks- they truly reward people for trying hard and having a positive attitude. It is a dog friendly office, so not hating dogs is going to be a prerequisite for this role!
We appreciate this is a tiny snapshot of what you would do, so if you are interested and want to know more, call me, send me a message (Josh Withers on LinkedIn), DM, or whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable, to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there are no gender biases in our adverts.
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
