Contract type Full time

If you are a seasoned Accounts Payable specialist with a passion for managing a team, this is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading building services firms driving the push to net zero.

An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Team Leader to join the team in Northern Ireland. My client are one of the leading decarbonisation firms in the UK, pushing the design, development and delivery of offsite-prefabricated renewable energy systems for the commercial marketplace. The company has doubled in size in the past 12 months and is predicted to do the same in the coming 12-18 months, so this is a great chance to get on-board.

As the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be managing a small team and reporting directly into the Finance Manager and offer support to the wider finance team. You will and your team will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely payments. There is also a collaborative element to the role, working closely with other departments to streamline processes, implement new KPI’s and drive efficiency across the accounts payable function.

Ideally, you will have 3-5 years of experience working in a similar environment with multiple sites and entities in the UK and Europe. M&E experience is preferable but not a deal-breaker. You will be hard-working, diligent and a people person that leads from the front and develops the knowledge of talent of those working for you. You will be articulate, accurate and confident working under pressure.

The package for this role is negotiable and will be more than competitive for the right candidate. Benefits include 30 days holiday, company pension, life assurance and organised social events to name a few. This is an office-based position working 40 hours a week; Mon – Thur 08:00am –17:00pm, Fri 08:00am – 15:00pm.

We appreciate this is only a snapshot of the role, so if you are interested and want to know more, call me, send me a message (Richard Lambert on LinkedIn), DM, or whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply. We love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there are no gender biases in our adverts.

Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
