Business Development Manager

My client is going through a fantastic period of growth and expansion with their sights firmly set on hitting their £10m turnover target and are now looking for a Business Development or Account Manager to join their growing team with the opportunity to work with some of the most famous venues and hospitality brands in the UK, delivering equipment and maintenance projects in a variety of sectors.
- Experience within the catering equipment industry is essential for this role, as is the ability to understand your customers’ needs, offering consultative solutions in confidence and deliver them to your design team.
- You will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients.
- You will have experience of working as part of a larger team, including administrative and project delivery teams.
- An ability to understand operational and business needs to develop solutions for clients.
- Experience in site-surveying to provide initial plans to the design team would be ideal along with the ability to read and understand technical drawings and tenders.
- You will have the ability to meet and exceed your own and the companies’ targets.

From a salary perspective you will be looking at a basic of £40,000 – 50,000, with on target earnings of between £50 – 60,000, possibly more with an uncapped bonus scheme. You will be required to be in the office for 2 days a week, with most of the work being in and around London. There is also a genuine opportunity to progress to Sales Director level in line with current growth plans.
