Business Development Manager
Headlines: £40k - £60k base, £150k - £180k OTE, Hybrid / Reading
I’m working with a recruitment company who are experts in the IT and Managed Services sectors. Covering Infrastructure and Support, Networking and Security, Data and Insights and all things cloud based too.
They are looking for a Business Development Manager to come in to spearhead their growth in the US market. So, you’ll be working on US hours from the UK (10.30am – 6.30pm) to grow this area of the business.
They already have multiple exclusive US clients in place which you’ll be able to name drop and you’ll also have a steady stream of leads coming your way from a BD hungry Director, as well as sourcing your own leads too.
In an ideal world, you’ll already be selling into the US market in Enterprise software sales and have a solid understanding of digital markets, e.g. data, product, software development.
If you’re already in recruitment then you’ll need to be at Principal Consultant level or higher in experience or do a purely BD role at the moment with strong routes to market in the US.
From a financial perspective, you can expect a salary of £40k - £60k, a commission scheme which pays out on each deal passed, a quarterly bonus based on deals done on the new business you’ve won and can see you earning an OTE of £150k - £180k easily.
This one is a hybrid role for the right person, so its important that you are within a commutable distance to the offices in Pangbourne near Reading.
