You are either in recruitment, or you’re interested in getting into recruitment, let me tell you about the things you’re likely to care about the most:
- There are no arbitrary start and finish times – you have full flexibility and autonomy on how you manage your time.
- You can choose where you practice your profession – we have an office in Brackley, but I’m not precious about how much time you spend inside it – it is my job to make you want to come to it – I don’t want you to come because you feel compelled to
- Our commission structure is as follows: 15% of everything you bill up to £10,000, 20% of everything you bill up to £20,000, then 50% of everything above £20,000. The threshold is your cost to the business (usually c3k) and is paid out at 10k.
- I want you to have a personality and opinion on stuff, so if you’re a fence-sitter who does not feel like they can speak up, this role may not be for you.
If you’re still reading and interested, then we’re off to a good start! So a bit of background about OX Seven:
In 2018 we started out as a generalist agency, we quickly amassed a hugely impressive client list (we punch way above our weight) and are now in the process of re-defining our niches and who we work with. We will only work with progressive companies who are trying to make positive impacts in the world – this does mean we turn a fair few clients down if we’re not comfortable with how they operate.
As a result, we are looking to speak to people who want to join us on our ‘journey’ (lol). I am not on a grandiose mission to change to the world, but I am on a mission to improve the lives of all stakeholders of OX Seven – whether that be employees, clients or candidates. We do that by being hard-working, honest, decent people – there really isn’t a magic formula – just good old interpersonal skills and a thirst for learning.
I genuinely want to offer the best possible training which involves a mix of in-house and external trainers coming in. One thing that is certain, is that personal development is continuous, you will always be working towards improving yourself and your next salary increase.

Salary-wise, you are looking at a basic up to £35,000 depending on your experience, with a year 1 earning potential of c£60,000 and y2 (if you work very hard and bill above target) of £100k+.
