One of our closest and long-standing clients is now looking for a Tax Senior to join the team on a permanent basis. Teamwork, integrity, focus and progression are the key to our client’s success over the years.

Our client has been providing outstanding service and advice to businesses and businesspeople for since 1960. There will also be a requirement to assist with CGT computations, 60-day returns, SDLT, VAT options to tax and other capital taxes, as well as assisting clients with their IHT planning where necessary. You will be expected to assist trainees in their journey to becoming fully fledged tax professionals and have a knack for spotting tax planning opportunities, additional services to clients and referral opportunities for the Wealth Planning team. With two IFA’S on-site in Banbury, investment, protection, and pension business can easily be transferred to provide a seamless service for your clients.

To be considered for this role, you will be ATT qualified or equivalent, and ideally on your way towards your CTA qualifications. You will have a strong working knowledge of all personal and business taxes, as well as knowledge of capital taxes including capital gains and inheritance tax. A familiarity with taxation software, HMRC systems and cloud accounting software such as Xero is also a requirement for this role.

From a salary perspective you will be looking at between £30 – 45,000 depending on knowledge and experience level, a generous holiday allowance and a FlexE, hybrid working setup paving the way for a true work/life balance. Our client truly cares for its employees with a packed social and team-building calendar. They also take part in a lot of charity events and provide the opportunity to work towards additional qualifications if you so desire. Cross-training into the audit side is also a possibility.
